Negations in the present simple

Slide 10 - Slide

Hoe maak je een ontkenning?
Om een zin vragend te maken, gebruik je Do (I, you, we, they) of Does (he, she, it) aan het begin van de zin. Daarna komt het onderwerp en dan het hele werkwoord.
Do you like pizza? Does she like pizza?

Om een zin ontkennend te maken, zet je don't (I, you, we, they) of doesn't (he, she, it) voor het hele werkwoord.
I don't like pizza. She doesn't like pizza.

Slide 11 - Slide

Ontkenning met to be
Vragen met to be (am/is/are) maak je door het werkwoord vooraan de zin te zetten:
You are a very good cook! > Are you a very good cook?

Als er in een zin een vorm van to be (am/is/are), dan maak je een ontkennende zin daarvan door not / -n't daarachter te zetten:

You are a very good cook! You are not / aren't a very good cook!

Slide 12 - Slide

Turn this sentence into a negation.
1. I like pizza.
2. She likes him.
