Irregular Verbs
Add -ed: visit → visited, play → played Example: I visited my grandmother.
Regular Verbs
Change form: go → went, have → had Example: She went to the beach.
Pronunciation: -ed Endings
-ed can sound like: /t/ (talked), /d/ (played), /ɪd/ (wanted) Say these words out loud!
