In - text referencing
In your task 1a & 1b - in text referencing is important, you will also need a reference list.
References can be copied and pasted at the bottom of your plans. You will have your notes electronically.

But you will also need to use in text referencing correctly, the best time to do this is with your note taking to relieve some pressures.

Let me show you some examples of what this can look like.

Slide 3 - Slide

Early support plan example

In text referencing is important, the entire ESP is built around your abilities to research and plan.

Utilise the internet to shape your knowledge and understanding.

Activity plan example
Your turn !!

I would like you know to use your research notes and add this in to your plans & create a reference list at the bottom.

Add this in red or a different colour please.

Questioning practice
What did we find difficult & why?

Let me role model for you :)

I've had zero practice promise :)

Q1 - Can you tell me how your approach is informed by your knowledge of current early years
strategies ?

Slide 7 - Slide

2a) Can you share some examples of how you would communicate with Noah, based on the
information given in the brief?

2b) Can you tell me about the communication techniques you would use if Noah responded
negatively when told to stop what he is doing and join a whole class activity?

Slide 8 - Slide

Q3) Can you tell me how well you feel your strategy addresses Noah's difficulties in following the routine of the school day?

Activity plan (V2)
For the amended activity plan a detailed justification is required at the bottom to state what you did change and why.
You need to also add in what your peers asked you to change but you decided not to.

(Peer 1 advised ...... however I felt like this change was not beneficial to my activity plan because...)

All changes made need to be clear at the bottom and written in paragraphs. I would consider 2 to 3 detailed paragraphs per peer, but these need to match the changes you have made.

The observation box in support plan
When completing the observation box , it is your opportunity to clearly state gow Noah's development will be supported and how you in tend to working in partnership.
Information consider:
* Formative & summative assessment
* 2 Year old check (relevant to new ESP)
* type of observation method (tracking/ narrative / snap shot)
* partnership working
 * Using Development Matters 2023 to support tracking of progress made by the child.
*Section 2 of the EYFS 2024.
In order to use this in your tasks it needs to evident in your research notes!

All examples will appear different with many having varied strengths.

Some examples are your peers from the mock exam
