Many is used for countable nouns - nouns that have a plural form such as coins - bottles - apples - tables- people

Communicative activity
  1. Get in to groups of three or four
  2. Each group has a set of cards
  3. Each student takes a turn taking a card and reading the question (USING MUCH OR MANY)to the student on their left. Then ask the follow up questions for more information.
  4. Take turns taking a card and answering the questions until the cards or time run out.
