About the CEFR Levels A1 & A2
CEFR is an international standard for describing language ability. A1 and A2 are beginner levels, focusing on basic communication in everyday situations.
How Many Words Should You Know?
Approx. 500-600 common words. Example: cat /kæt/ (mushuk)
A2 Level
Approx. 1,000-1,200 words. Example: travel /ˈtrævəl/ (sayohat qilish)
A1 Level
Pronunciation Matters
Each new word will have the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) pronunciation and a translation into Uzbek to help you practise and understand better.
Essential Grammar: A1 Level
At A1, learn basic verb to be, simple present tense, common nouns, pronouns, articles, word order, and forming questions.
Essential Grammar: A2 Level
At A2, practise past tense (was/were, simple past), regular and irregular verbs, frequency adverbs, comparatives, and simple prepositions.
Tips to Master A1 & A2 English
Be consistent. Review vocabulary daily, listen to English, repeat words, and use flashcards. Practise speaking and check meanings in Uzbek.
