Multiple abilities are asked of you during the speaking exam: 
  • Being able to describe objects to someone who is completely unknown to the topic in English. 
  • Being able to formulate your weaknesses/strengths, argue for/against statements, ask questions in English. 
  • Being able to discuss a play that is known to you (preparation is key!!)

  1. Match the words to each graph. 
  2.  Complete the sentences with your own ideas. Make sure you explain your point. You may like to use these aspects of life: hearbeat, blood sugar level, free time, work, energy level.

  2. Compare and contrast what you have written down. Pick  2 statements that you find interesting and discuss these ones in your group in English. Explain your point. The others have to react to the point that has been raised, you may ask questions/give your own thoughts/disagree/agree etc.

  1. In your own group: pick out 1 random object from someone's bag. 
  2. 2 people are aliens, the other 2 have to explain to the others what this object is. The aliens are asking questions about this object as they do not understand what it is.
  3. Done? Pick out a new random object and switch roles.
