1. How many languages are there in the world?
   → There are about 7,000 languages spoken in the world.

2. How old is the oldest language?
   → Sumerian is one of the oldest known written languages. The earliest written records are about 5,000 years old.

3. What are three of the most difficult languages to learn?
   → There is no single list because difficulty depends on your first language. For English speakers, three languages often considered difficult are:

   • Mandarin Chinese

   • Arabic

   • Japanese
