Een bijwoord (adverb) zegt iets over een werkwoord, bijvoeglijk naamwoord , hele zin of ander bijwoord.

Vorm: bijvoeglijk naamwoord + ly 


De plaats van te bijwoord is altijd vóór het hoofdwerkwoord.

We always make our homework.

She often talks to her friend.


Uitzondering:

Als er am-are-is-was-were in de zin staat, dan komt het bijwoord erachter.

Newspaper article
In this task you are going to write a news article about an event from your book. Act as if you are the journalist.

Steps
Think about an event from the book that was shocking, funny or life changing.
Write the news article that covers the following points:

  • Come up with a title
  • In the introduction part you write down who/what/where something happened
  • In the middle part you give a summary of the event
  • In the end part you tell the readers what happened in the end? Did it end well? Are there any further actions being taken? Did something get solved?
  • If possible include a picture/drawing of the event

  • Write a news article in English, using at least 100 words.
  • Write the story in Word and hand in your work via Magister/ELO/opdrachten
Points
And once again for this last task you can earn 10 points.
  • 6 points for grammar, spelling and word order in English
  • 4 points for creativity and good story telling and completing the task well.
