- Aanbod: I'll help you with your homework.

- Acute beslissingen:  I won't call het now, she is not at home.

When do we use the first conditional?

- To predict the results of an action. 
- To talk about possibilities in the present or in the future. 

If clause = condition (voorwaarde) present
Main clause = result (gevolg) future ( will+verb)

If it rains, I will stay home.                         If we don't hurry, we wont get there in time.

I will stay home if it rains.                          We won't get there in time if we don't hurry.
