  • Je gebruikt SO om te zeggen dat iets/iemand dat OOK heeft/vindt/doet.
- She has got a terrible cold - So have I.
- I think complaining is annoying - So does my friend.

  • Je gebruikt SO bij een bevestigende zin.
- My father has been a pilot for ten years - So has mine.
- Susan has a blackberry - So have I.

Hoe maak je de SO-zin?
  • Je herhaalt het hulpwerkwoord (do/be/have/will/can)
- I am going to the hairdresser's - So am I.
- She has a nice sweater - So has he.

  • Als er geen hulpwerkwoord is, gebruik je DO/DOES/DID.
- I want to become a plumber - So do I.
- My dad thinks smoking is unhealthy - So does my sister.  (she)
- My grandda thought smoking is wrong - So did my grandmom.
