Spellingsuitzonderingen:
Eindigt op een:
Medeklinker + y = - ily          Funny -> funnily
-le ->- ly                                    Gentle -> gently
-ic -> -ically                              Ironic -> ironically
- ue -> - uly                              true -> truly
-LL -> - LLy                               full -> fully

Ook adverbs (maar zonder 'ly')
zoals: always, still never, often

Gebruik:  Je wilt 3 dingen tegelijkertijd uitdrukken:
                              1. iets is in het verleden begonnen;
                              2. het is niet belangrijk/bekend wanneer;
                              3. het al een tijdje aan de gang is, OF het steeds weer gebeurt - vaak is er dan ook
                                   een emotie aan verbonden, zoals ergernis, trots of verwondering. 

+: have / has + been + ww + ing                        I have been studying for hours!
-: haven't / hasn't + been + ww + ing              I haven't been practising that hard, to be honest.
?: have / has + ow + been + ww + ing              Has it been raining long?
