Once upon a crisp autumn night in Chester, near the ancient woods of Flintshire, a small orange pumpkin lay forgotten in a farmer’s patch. Unlike the others, this pumpkin shimmered faintly under the harvest moon and hummed an eerie tune when the wind whispered through its grooves.
Young Ellie, an adventurous girl with a love for Halloween mysteries, wandered into the patch in search of the perfect pumpkin. When she saw it glow faintly, she felt an odd warmth, as if the pumpkin recognized her. Brushing off the leaves, she heard a tiny voice: “Pick me, and a secret I’ll share.”
Startled yet intrigued, Ellie decided to take the pumpkin home. That night, as candlelight flickered inside it, the pumpkin spoke again, telling her the story of a forgotten witch, Morgana, who had enchanted the pumpkin long ago to guard her lost spellbook.
Determined to uncover the book, Ellie followed the pumpkin’s whispered directions into the heart of the woods. Shadows danced around her, and the wind carried ghostly laughter, but the pumpkin guided her safely to a clearing where the moss-covered spellbook rested beneath an ancient oak. With the final words of the pumpkin’s riddle, the book opened, revealing glowing spells and a tiny mirror reflecting Ellie’s image holding the magical pumpkin.
