What is a Noun?

What is a Verb?
A verb is a word that shows an action or something happening. Examples: run, jump, sing.
Spot the Difference
"eat", "play", "read". All are verbs because they show what someone does.
"cat", "apple", "teacher". All are nouns because they name people, places, or things.
