• Je gebruikt voorzetsels van plaats om aan te geven waar iemand is. 

• Bijvoorbeeld:

• De muis staat achter de bank
• The mouse is behind the couch

Voorbeeld:

• I'm standing behind the chair.

• I'm standing in front of the chair.

• I'm standing next to the chair.

• I'm standing between the chairs.

• I'm standing on the chair.

Prepositions of time

IN gebruik je voor: eeuwen, jaren, maanden en langere tijdsperiodes

examples: in 2018, in June, in the past

ON gebruik je voor: dagen, data

examples: on Tuesday, on my birthday, on Christmas day

AT gebruik je voor: precieze tijden

examples: at 12 o'clock, at noon, at sunrise, at the moment

Uitzondering: at night, at the weekend, at Christmas
