Medieval Ballad
  1. Song poem (people didn't know how to read and write in the Middle Ages) & oldest form of poetry
  2. Simple (folk) language

  5. First + Third line = 8 syllables; Second and Fourth line= 6 syllables (so: 8/6/8/6 syllables)
