je maakt een samengestelde zin door twee enkelvoudige zinnen samen te voegen met behulp van voegwoorden.

Voegwoorden: and, but, for, nor, or, yet of so.

  • I always take the train, for I haven't got a car.
  • We want a new car, but we think it's too expensive.
  • An earthquake struck the area, but nobody was hurt.
