Eduscrum:
  • Divide a chapter into parts (sprints)
  • Students work in groups.
  • Various ceremonies.

  • Sprint Review (test, report, practical, presentation, hand in)

The Product Owner: Teacher
  • Determines what needs to be done / covered (makes a list - product backlog)
  • Monitors the quality of what is done / learned.
  • Tests and asses what is learned.

The Scrum Master
  • Make clear to kids this is not the boss.
  • Is in charge of the scrumboard, keeping it up to date. 
  • Makes sure ceremonies are done correctly and everyone gets a say. (stand-up, retro, etc.)
  • Fills in the logbook.
  • Goes to the teachers when there are problems in the       team that might affect the work.

Stand-up
  • 5 mins at the start of every lesson.
  • Goal: what, who & when?
  • Team members check the scrumboard and answer 3 questions: 
  • 1. What has been done?
  • 2. What needs to be done by next time?
  • 3. Are there any problems?
  • The team must discuss how to solve possible problems, the actual doing happens after the stand-up meeting.

Sprint Review
  • "Do or die"
  • Everything is done and checked (and handed in by the scrummaster).   
  • As a group you agree everything is done to the standard you want it to be done.

Sprint Retrospective
  • Every sprint ends with a  retrospective.

  • What went well?
  • What could be better?
  • 1 action point to be taken during the next sprint.
