Airport Byelaws
  • These came about through - The Airports Act 1986 (UK)
  • All UK airports have their own byelaws – a set of rules and regulations that each airport use for their particular airport.
  • These have been passed by the government and each airports specific byelaws may differ slightly
  • There can be a financial penalty or a sanction if rules not followed
  • It is a legal framework / contract between the airport and users to ensure good health and safety.
