These came about through -
The Airports Act 1986 (UK)
All UK airports have
their own byelaws
– a set of rules and regulations that each airport use for their particular airport.
These have been passed by
the government
and each airports specific byelaws may differ slightly
There can be a
financial penalty
or a
sanction
if rules not followed
It is a legal framework / contract between the
airport
and
users
to ensure good health and safety.
