1 Als iets in het verleden gebeurd is begonnen en nog niet voorbij is. Vaak staat er for, since, yet, never, ever, etc.

She has lived in Doorwerth for three years.
I have not been to South Korea yet.

Als in een zin verwijzing naar het verleden staat (denk aan yesterday, last year, two weeks ago, in 1969), dan kun je in het Engels niet de present perfect gebruiken. Je moet dan de past simple gebruiken.
