There are 2 main kinds of hackers

• Black hat hackers

• White hat hackers 

What do you think the difference between them might be? 

What is Ethical Hacking?

• Black hat hackers work in the shadows to commit crimes, steal information/money or even your identity. 

• White hat hackers work in the light to expose problems and help fix them. 

White hat hackers

White hat hackers work to reveal problems inside systems to help prevent any people from misusing those problems for their own gain. 

Pen testing

A company will hire a white hat hacker to conduct a pen test.

This is to test if the hacker can get past security.
