American Football

How does it work?

The task

Listen to and watch an explainer about American Football. Take notes of the rules as if you will be playing the game in PE class. So note down only the most important information in key words.

After the video you will have 3 minutes to organise your notes and discuss them with a classmate. Then there will be a set of questions to answer and you will find out if you were able to catch the most important information.

Note-taking tips

Write phrases, not full sentences.

Only record the key words that you need to get the idea of the point.

Take notes in your own words.

Underline, circle, star, etc. to identify key information, examples, definitions, or other important materials. 

If you miss something, write key words, skip a few spaces, and get the information later.
