Slide 10 - Quiz

past simple
past simple: verleden tijd in meest simpele vorm
* wel belangrijk wanneer het gebeurde
* tijdsbepaling in de zin (yesterday, in 2009)

hoe maak je het:
- ww+ ed / ww+ d (dus: walked / liked)
- vragend: did + ww (dus: did walk)
- ontkennend: didn't + ww (dus: didn't like)

Slide 11 - Slide

present perfect: voltooid tegenwoordige tijd
* niet belangrijk wanneer precies
* start in verleden maar nu nog een effect

hoe maak je het:
- to have + verb 3
- goed kijken om wie het gaat, dus have of has
- verb 3 is bij gewone ww+ed, of de eigen vorm van irr verbs (onregelmatige werkwoorden)

Slide 12 - Slide

would < > wouldn't

je gebruikt would als je iets zou doen, willen; er moet een voorwaarde zijn

bv: I would buy a car, if I had enough money
de voorwaarde is dus dat je genoeg geld moet hebben.

vorm:
- would + hele werkwoord

Slide 13 - Slide

word order - adverbs (zinsvolgorde en bijwoorden)

vaste plaats in de zin:
- voor (hoofd)werkwoord
- tussen 2 werkwoorden in
- na een vorm van to be

adverb zegt iets over werkwoord of over adjective
adjective zegt iets over een zelfstandig naamwoord

Slide 14 - Slide

word order - place before time

- tijdsbepalingen mogen vooraan of helemaal achter in de zin
- maar altijd place before time

* I'll meet up in front of the gate tonight.
* I've seen the king on tv just now!

Slide 15 - Slide

als iets bezig is, gebruik je de continuous

- je hebt present continuous = nu bezig
- je hebt past continuous = was toen bezig

vorm:
- juiste vorm van to be + ww~ing

I am working // We were working.
