Suffix -er
How do you turn these words into 'people'?

Clean - dance - dive - run - ski - swim.

What is a vowel?
What is a consonant?

Suffix -er
Be aware! With most words you can just add -er to it, but:

If the word ends in e, you only add -r (dancer, not danceer)
If the spelling is: consonant, vowel, consonant, you double the last letter. (Swimmer, not swimer) (= wrong in book!)
Except when it's a 'y' at the end. You don't double the y (play = player, not playyer)

Watching
Watch the 1 min video and then answer the questions the interviewer asks the students in pairs.
The questions are in the yellow box under the Listening exercise.

You get 5 minutes to ask each other the questions and answer them. Remember the answers! Because I will ask you later.

4-5 min ask all 6 descriptions, ask the rules for making people, ask 2 or 3 students about the answers their neighbour gave just now during the talking exercise.
