The main part of a monthly calendar is the grid. It shows the days of the month in rows and columns.

Parts of the Calendar Grid

Dates

At the top, you see the days like Monday, Tuesday, etc. Each column belongs to one day of the week.

Days of the Week

Numbers within the grid represent each date in the month, helping you locate specific days.

Special Days and Holidays

Calendars often highlight special days and holidays. These might be marked with colours, symbols, or pictures.
