in = in

on = op / aan

under = onder

above = boven

between = tussen

in front of = voor

opposite = tegenover

near = vlakbij

among = tussen (meer dan twee personen)

On and At?

Betekenen dus in het Nederlands allebei "op"

Maar... Wat is dan het verschil tussen:

- I am at school?

en

- I am on school? 

The boy is on school. 

(bovenop het oppervlakte)
