Ameland, because it has more space for tourists and because it has a lot of agricultural areas.

With the long coastlines you can walk far. You can also go sailing, surfing, sport fishing, canoeing, mudflat walking, sailing with a motorboat or dry out with a flat-bottomed boat. Fanø has a marina, Borkum also has a marina and a diving club and Ameland has a surf town and a marina.

Popular Sights Churches & Cathedrals Sacred & Religious Sites Architectural Buildings Historic Sites Nearby Fano Tours. In Ameland you can go to the popular lighthouse and climb it, you can spot seals and also in Borkum you can climb the new lighthouse, swim in the Gezeitenland or cycle on Borkum.

Borkum looks to us the most fun to visit because you have a diving club there and a beautiful new lighthouse.
