Tuesday 8 June
Me: online, always ask your questions, you can always email
You: in the classroom, taking part, asking questions if you have them, respectful behaviour towards each other, the Klassestudent and myself. Give each other the chance to learn and prepare for the upcoming years.

If anything is the matter: please let me know.

Where do we find persuasion?

Slide 4 - Slide

Think of places where we do not find advertisements.

Slide 5 - Slide

What does that mean? What are the consequences?

Homework
Find an advertisement that you react strongly to (e.g. you love it, you hate it, you (dis)like the brand, you (dis)like the message, you remember it clearly...)

Do a SEE-THINK-WONDER activity (make a table) and submit the table, as well as the advertisement on classroom (see assignment).

Today: presentation of your advertisements

Slide 14 - Slide

First things first, however
Apparently, only a handful of you (Aiden,  Darren, Laurent, Liv, Loïs, Ole, Rosalie and Willem van Dijk) understood this task.

Good for them: after answering 3 additional questions they are going to work on a different subject, read a book or do something for themselves without disturbing the others.

All the other people: do the homework and do it well.

Questions? Unmute or walk up to the snowball.

It needs to be submitted by the end of the lesson.

Slide 15 - Slide

3 additional questions for everyone
1. Who is the target audience of this advertisement?
2. What messages are being sent?
3. What is the purpose of the advertisement?

Make sure you can give evidence.

The whole task can be found on classroom.
