Note: Hurricanes
Hurricane (orkaan): Very heavy tropical storm
-> forms in warm oceans (26,5 degrees Celsius)
-> causes very strong winds and rain
-> causes flooding (from the ocean)
-> can be up to 500 kilometers wide
-> can last a few days
->predictable (voorspelbaar)
-> also named cyclone/typhoon in Asia
-> Alphabet is used to give names to extreme storms
