Bij de start van iedere les verwelkomt de docent de leerlingen bij de ingang van de deur, noemt leerlingen bij naam, maakt oogcontact en besteedt aandacht aan hun welbevinden. De docent geeft het goede voorbeeld en spreekt hoge verwachtingen uit voor het verloop van de les door succescriteria op gewenst gedrag, schooltaal en effectief leren te benoemen. De leerlingen zijn startklaar: ingelogd in LessonUp, telefoons opgeborgen in het Zakkie, en JdW-map op tafel.

How to use this template for a written report:

The template on Toddle can be used as the base for student reports. 

Learning goal + product

• What do I want to know about this topic?
  
• Why do I want to know about this topic?
  
• What do I want to learn through this topic?
  
• Would this learning help me or any other person in any way?
  

• How would I know if I am really passionate about this topic?

Using this idea generation technique, a student writes down three main ideas which they want to explore further. Thereafter, the page where ideas are documented is passed on to another student, who can continue to expand on those existing ideas or add their own. This strategy is very helpful to get various perspectives on the same idea and see deeper connections.

Game 1: Who am I?

You get a sticky note with a famous person's name on it, which you place on your back, forehead, or in a group-facing display, then ask yes/no questions to the group to guess their identity. 

The goal is to identify the person on the note by asking questions
