RISKS OF USING AI FOR WRITING
  • SHORT-CUT/ QUICK-FIX, creates dependency.  No natural learning.
  • impact on creativity and critical thinking skills.
  • incorrect or over-complicated answers, the wrong tone.
  • privacy/ data collection.
  • fraud and plagiarism.
  • can everyone access/ use it?
It is important to have an open and on-going conversation about AI use in class. This takes time.
