  1. Put students in groups of 2 or 4 (if possible). give each group a set (envelop) with sentence cards + preposition cards (TIP: use different colour paper to identify the sets). Students put the cards face-down in front of them.
  2. Students each choose an equal number of sentence cards. All the preposition cards should remain in the middle of the table, face down.
  3. Player with sentence card number 20 starts the game by choosing preposition card. If preposition is correct player wins a point. If incorrect player puts sentence at bottom of his/her pile and replaces the preposition card face down.
  4. continuing clockwise. Teachers monitors and coaches. Student who first manages to select all the correct prepositions is the winner.
  5. Group moves on to bonus exercise writing sentences.
  6. Sentences & preposistions will be checked.
  7. Written sentences are checked by other group. Teacher helps when in doubt.
  8. Group with the most correct answers wins. (candy???)
