Some Rules
1. No use of mobile phones during class unless I tell you you're allowed to use them.

2. Always raise your hand if you know the answer to a question or if you want to ask something. So, don't shout out your answer/question.

3. When I'm trying to explain something, don't talk through my explanation. Be respectful and listen. You'll have enough time to talk when you're working on assignments in between my explanations.

4. Always bring your books to class! How ya goin' to work without a book, anyway?

5.  Don't cuss in class.

STARTER:

Team up with two or three classmates and find out whether your eating habits are influenced by a certain cultural background (this does not have to be your own). For instance, does your family enjoy ayam goreng with krupuk? Or do you often grab a quick dinner at a falafel stand?

Do you have other types of eating habits? (allergies, vegetarian, vegan, religious beliefs, such as not eating pork or gelatine)? Discuss this with each other
