  • Om over de toekomst te praten kun je ook will of shall gebruiken.
  • Je gebruikt will + hele werkwoord als je een beslissing neemt op het moment van spreken.
Do you think John is at home? Then I will call him to see if we can visit him this afternoon.
I think I'll go to bed early.
  • ... bij een wens, veronderstelling, belofte, aanbod, verzoek of voorspelling. 
He will not be on time. He's always late.
