Session 1: Introduction
We will explore our core values, types of societies, and what makes someone a responsible adult. Activities will help you reflect and collaborate with your classmates.
Activity 1: Value Line
Objective: To reflect on and discuss core values. Success Criteria: Active participation and respectful communication. Instructions: 1. The teacher reads out value statements (e.g., honesty, respect). 2. Students stand on an imaginary line to show their agreement. 3. Pairs discuss why they chose their position. Materials: List of values.
Types of Societies
Discussion: Societal Types
In groups, identify and list features of different society types (e.g., traditional, modern, multicultural).

Objective

Activity 2: Society Posters
Each group chooses a society type and creates a poster. Include: - Core values represented - Key features of the society Materials: Poster paper, markers, magazines for collaging.
