Relative pronouns
In short:

1. Who is used to refer to people -> use whom after prepositions
2. Which is used to refer to animals / things / parts of a sentence
3. That can sometimes -but not always!- be used to replace who or which
4. Whose indicates possession of either a person or a thing

Watch out!
'waar’ is only translated with ‘where’ if you're actually talking about a place
  • He told me where he was born.

But not:
  • Dat was het moment waar ik op had gewacht.
  • that was the moment which/that I had been waiting for.

Voorzetsel + whom / which 
woorden zoals waarmee/met wie, waarover/over wie, waarop/op wie etc. 

Kun je me iets vertellen over de mensen waarmee ik moet werken?
1) Can you tell me something about the people (that) I have to work with?
2) Can you tell me something about the people with whom I have to work?

De tweede zinsconstructie is formeler!

Dat is de Bugatti Veyron waarop ik al zo lang moet wachten.
1) That is the B.V. (that) I have waited so long for.
2) That is the B.V. for which I have waited so long.
