What would you buy if you were a billionaire?
I would buy an island if I were a billionaire.

Third Conditional
If you had been born a king, how would your life have been diff?
If I had been born a king, I would have become a polyglot.


What's the structure?
  • if + past simple, would + verb
  • would + verb...if + past simple
When do we use it?
  • imaginary / hypothetical situation + result (in present or future)
