  • Read Paragraph 1 
  • Is there an opening sentence(s) that is creepy, funny, scary, exciting?  
  • 0 - no
  • 1 - yes, a little bit
  • 2 - yes, it starts off really interesting!
    Give a score for (2)

  • Is there more than 1 paragraph and are there blank lines in between?
  • 0 - no
  • 1 - yes, there are 2 paragphs (and empty lines)
  • 2 - yes, there are 3 paragraphs or more (&blank lines)
    Give a score for (3)

  • Now read the article and look at the last paragraph (conclusion)
  • Is the reader asked a question?
  • 0 - no
  • 1 - yes, but not in the last paragraph
  • 2 - yes, in the conclusion the reader is asked a question

  • Can you find there examples/ details about a fire in a home (For example: how it might happen? what he/she would do? how he/she would feel?
  • 0 - no
  • 1 - yes, but not very elaborate (niet uitgebreid)
  • 2 - yes, the article contains lots of examples/details
    Give a score for (5)
