The effects of a hurricane and the level of development of a country have something to do with each other. Explain this.

Levels of development and hurricanes

• The poorer a country, the bigger the effects. People do not have strong houses, no possibility to flee and there is not enough money for a good warning system. 

• The richer a country, the smaller the effects. The houses are strong, the people have money to flee and there is a good warning system.
