🥪 My New Classmate
My name is Adam. I am going to tell you about Sara, a person I met in my English class today.
Sara is 20 years old and she is from Somalia. She enjoys listening to Somali music and she also likes listening to English music. Her favourite singer is Elvis. In addition, she enjoys watching films in her free time. Her favourite film is Black Panther because it is thrilling, entertaining and the actors are excellent.
Finally, I think Sara is friendly, kind and interesting. I enjoyed talking to her and I hope to get to know her better.

What 3 mistakes can you spot? Rewrite the correct version!
Students should identify the missing full stop and the verb errors: 'live' should be 'lives', 'enjoy' should be 'enjoys', and 'do not like' should be 'does not like'.
Write a short paragraph about a classmate you interviewed. Use a mix of simple & compound sentences
Students should include basic sentence starters for a short description, for example: 'My classmate is...', 'He/She likes...', 'They are...'.
Use this frame to help you build your paragraph if you need help
