You've had a really strange day at work and you want to tell your workfriend all about it.

You have 1 minute to write something down.

Then switch papers and repeat this process. 

Writing errors 

We will be looking at some common mistakes to help you improve your writing.

Spot the mistake(s):
This afternoon I'am gonna go to the park. Because i love spending time in nature.

Answers:

• This afternoon I'm going to the park, because I love spending time in nature. 
• I'am = I am or I'm 
• . = ,          The word because is a linking word(voegwoord) that's why you should use a comma instead of a dot
• i = I           Always use a capital letter 
• Gonna = Going to

I wanna go to the primark whit u.

Answers:

• I want to go to the Primark with you. 
• wanna = want to 
• primark = Primark          Use a capital letter when talking about brands or companies. 
• whit = with 
• u = you          

You can have ........... own car!

Explanation 

Your is possesive (bezittelijk). Same as ''jouw'' in Dutch.

You're is the same as you are. 

Those are the only correct forms.

Than VS Then

• Than is used for comparisons:

I'm shorter than him.

• Then is used for time, order and result:
