In period 2 we'll focus on 3 things:

Reading skills

Use of English skills

Vocabulary

Why?

English in period 2

Directly after the Christmas break you'll have your Cambridge FCE Reading and use of English test.

What to expect of reading and use of English 

7 sections, divided as follows:

1: MC  gap questions

2: Open gap questions

3: Word formation questions (change given word to right form)

4: Word transformation questions (use word to form (part of) a sentence.

5: MC questions

6: MC sentence gaps

7: MC match questions

Cambridge: reading and use of English

Questions 1-16

• you need paper to write down your answers
