Passive zinnen maken we door een vorm van ‘to be+ voltooid deelwoord aan de zin toe te voegen.

e.g.: Active: They often study the answers        

         Passive: The answers are often studied ( by them) (De antwoorden worden vaak bestudeerd door hen)  



         Active: They are studying the answers now.

         Passive: The answers are being studied now (by them) (De antwoorden worden nu
