Programme

• Today we will do one or two exercises, depending on the time
• In all of these exercises you will have to use your speaking skills
• First, we will watch a video from a movie, the sound will be turned off
• Watch the video and try to guess what the characters are saying
• Help on demand
• Some student will be asked to share what they thought was said in the scenes
• At the end we will discuss how you experienced this lesson
• If we have time left: we will do some exercise with pictures
• Feedback 

The exercise 

• Watch this video, it is a scene from a movie
• There will be no sound 
• Watch the video and try to guess what the characters are saying
• You can do it alone or with your parents.
• Think about the fun factor !  How do the characters say it  (dark voice, high voice, grumpy, etc, not too soft!! )
• Result: At the end, the teacher will ask you to share  5-6 sentences  from your scene

• It can help to write some key-word in Dutch first.
• Determine which English words are necessary . 
• Use google-translate (translate.google.com) or  a dictionary
• Write down the English Key-words
•  Make complete sentences
• Think about how you can pronounce the sentences (grammar, tone of funny-voice)
