Spain has a variety of climates: hot, dry summers in the south, rainy winters in the north, and sunny coasts. Let's look at some weather vocabulary.
Useful Weather Vocabulary
Sunny ☀️, Rainy ☔️, Cloudy ☁️, Windy 🍃, Snowy ❄️, Hot 🔥, Cold 🧣. Practise these words with your group.
Using 'Will' and 'Won't'
'Won't' for Negatives
We use 'will' to predict weather. Example: 'It will be sunny in Málaga tomorrow.'
We use 'won't' to say what won't happen. Example: 'It won't snow in Seville this summer.'
'Will' for Predictions
Spanish Cities and Weather
Different cities have different weather. Let's match the pictures to the cities: Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Bilbao, Valencia.
