Meet the Cursor

The cursor is a small moving pointer on the screen. It shows where actions will happen. You can move it using the mouse or touchpad.

Introduction to Icons

Icons are small pictures representing programs, files, or functions. Clicking an icon opens it.

The Start Button

The Start button is usually in the bottom-left corner. It opens the Start menu, giving access to programs and settings.

Using the Mouse or Touchpad

Move the cursor by sliding the mouse or swiping the touchpad. Click to select icons or open the Start menu.

Select an icon by clicking it once. Double-click to open a program or file.

Exploring the Start Menu

The Start menu lists all your programs. Click to open programs or search for specific applications.
