  • At the end of this lesson, the students can respond to a customer who needs assistants with the help of a written transcript.

What are we going to do?
What: Reading a situation and writing down our responses to the customer together in LessonUp

How: Write down your answers to the customer in LessonUp (You can also write it down extra in Word if you want to look at your sentences later).

Result: A written transcript for a speaking exercise.

Situation
You have your internship at the office of The Steam Bus Company in England. The company arranges days out for businesses. An employee of a supermarket in Manchester wants to plan a company outing and contacts you for the details.

A. The customer greets you and asks if you can help her.
