Present simple
  • Als iets altijd/nooit/regelmatig gebeurt: I usually go to my friend's house.
  • Als het een feit is (tijd speelt geen rol): The sun rises in the east.
  • Bij ww die een zintuiglijke waarneming aangeven: see/hear/taste/sound/smell: The soup tastes good.
  • Bij ww die een geestelijke staat aangeven: know/understand/believe/realise/doubt etc: I know that she will be there.
  • Bij ww die een voorkeur aangeven: like/love/prefer/hate:
    We like that music.

Conjunctions - Voegwoorden
Als je delen van zinnen met elkaar wil verbinden dan gebruik je voegwoorden.

Ze drukken ook een bepaalde relatie tussen die delen van zinnen uit, bijvoorbeeld een gevolg of een tegenstelling.
