What is a Mouse?

A mouse is a small device we use to tell the computer what to do. It has buttons and moves around.

Meet the Buttons

The mouse has buttons we can press. The left button is for clicking and choosing things.

Moving the Mouse

We move the mouse on the table to move the arrow on the screen. The arrow is called a cursor.

Clicking the Mouse

When we click, we tell the computer to do something, like open a picture or start a game.

Double-Click Fun

Double-clicking is pressing the button twice quickly. It opens things like folders.

Try Right-Clicking

The right button shows extra options. We use it for special tasks.
