  • Your CV should be a maximum of 2 sides of A4 paper
  •  You should always send a cover letter with your CV
  • You should adapt your CV for every job
  • Lying on a CV is an offence and could mean you get fired when it is discovered
  • Keep your CV clean and easy to read, don't use fancy fonts or pictures. 
  • Always type your CV for ease of reading.

Personal profile
A profile is a short introduction to your CV.
Explain who you are and why you are interested in the
job. 
This should be no longer than four sentences.

I am a trustworthy, reliable, sociable person looking to work in retail. I can work well as part of a team and can also work independently. I have a maths degree which helps when working out finances; in my spare time I like to socialise with family and friends.
