When you plan your writing, it’s best to write down ideas before you start writing sentences.

Here are some ideas for writing about a holiday.

Capital letters in English
When do you use capital letters in English?
  • At the start of the sentence ('Hello, how are you doing?')
  • Names of people, places, brands, etc (Tim, Haarlem, Samsung)
  • The word 'I' - ik (He is smart, but I am smarter)
  • Days of the week and months (Wednesday, May)
